1. ABOUT THE JOURNAL

The NomadVillage Research Series is an open access institutional publication dedicated to the dissemination of applied research, policy briefs, and technical reports related to territorial development, contemporary mobilities, rural innovation, and digital nomadism.

The series aims to promote the production and circulation of evidence-based knowledge addressed to policymakers, researchers, territorial managers, and organizations involved in local and regional development processes.

The NomadVillage Research Series adopts an interdisciplinary approach, welcoming contributions from the social sciences, geography, urban and rural studies, public policy, regional economics, and related fields. Publications may take different formats, including research papers, policy analyses, and technical reports.

All content is published in immediate open access, free of charge for readers, in accordance with the principles of open science.

 

2. OPEN ACCESS POLICY

The NomadVillage Research Series provides immediate open access to all its content, based on the principle that free availability of scientific knowledge contributes to the democratization of information and to the strengthening of informed public debate.

No subscription or access fees are charged for published content.

Authors retain the copyright of their works published in the NomadVillage Research Series. By submitting their manuscripts, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.

Unless otherwise indicated, published contents are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits sharing and adaptation of the material, provided that proper credit is given to the original authors.

 

4. SPONSORSHIP DISCLOSURE

The NomadVillage Research Series is an institutional publication linked to the NomadVillage initiative. At present, it does not receive external sponsorship or specific funding for its editorial activities.

 

5. JOURNAL HISTORY

The NomadVillage Research Series was established in 2026 as part of NomadVillage’s research and knowledge production activities, with the purpose of systematizing and disseminating studies, territorial diagnostics, and policy analyses developed within the platform and its institutional partnerships.

 

6. PRIVACY STATEMENT

The names and email addresses entered in this journal will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this publication and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 

7. ARCHIVING POLICY (LOCKSS / CLOCKSS)

The NomadVillage Research Series uses the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, allowing the permanent preservation of published content and its restoration in the event of data loss.
